I’m really stoked to review the Sony VPL-AW15 LCD Front Projector, because it is the first projector I review that’s capable of projecting 3D movies in 3D! Of course you will need 3D glasses as well as a 3D-source to use this feature, but I really recommend you get it cause it just looks so awesome! Of course Bluray and HD-DVD’s look great on this too, but nothing beats 3D!

It has a 800 x 600 resolution and a four-segment 2x speed color wheel, projecting very nice colors and images. With a good 2000:1 contrast ratio you won’t have to darken the entire room, yet it shouldn’t be too light either. But it will easily though for moonlight-movies, classroom use and use in darkened room.
The Vivitek H1080FD Home Theater Projector makes it for 100% digital, meaning there is no analog connection needed. Due to that, the Vivitek H1080FD Home Theater Projector is perfect for gaming, since it can be easily connected to any gaming console.

My conclusion:
I really like this projector. For this price, the image quality is stunning and the color levels as well as black levels really are top of the notch. The minor flaw is that there can appear a heat haze in front of the screen in poorly ventilated rooms – with normal ventilation you won’t notice it tough. Since this can be easily fixed with a ventilator placed 8 feet or so from the projector, I wouldn’t even call this a real flaw. All in all, a really recommendable projector for this price.

I finally got to review the Mitsubishi HC3800 Home Theater Projector, which is the new version of the HC1500. There isn’t that much I difference, but I still wanted to do a review about it and highlight some of the outstanding features of this high-end projector.
So to start of with, this 720p projector uses 1700 ANSI Lumens and its contrast ratio lies at 2500:1 for an extra clear and crisp screen – even with your lights turned on! The detail this projector brings about is absolutely stunning and rather surprising for a projector in this price-class. As in the HC1500, the Mitsubishi HC1600 uses the BrilliantColor technology from Texas Instruments for realistic and real-life looking images. The dark color levels are hectic!

- Offer the same high-performance as Canon lenses.
Most of the time, if you directly compare a Tamron lens to its equivalent Canon lens, the Tamron camera lenses are lots cheaper and as good or even better as the Canon lenses. So that makes the choice quite easy for most people! But lets have a look at some of the specifications of this specific Tamron camera lens:
